Covers the “Murājaʿa Iʿrāb — Arabic Grammar Analyzer” browser extension.
The extension analyzes Arabic text you select on a webpage and shows its
grammatical analysis (iʿrāb). It is built so that the only data that ever leaves your
browser is text you explicitly ask us to analyze.
Data we process
Text you choose to analyze. When — and only when — you click the
إعراب button, the right-click menu item, or the Analyze button in the popup, the
selected or pasted text is sent over HTTPS to muraja.app for analysis. The extension
never reads or transmits page content you did not select.
IP address. Standard for any web request; used server-side only to
enforce the free daily usage limit. Analyzed sentences may be cached server-side
(keyed by the sentence itself) so repeated analyses are instant.
Account connection (optional). If you choose to connect your
muraja.app account via the one-click page on muraja.app, the extension stores your
muraja.app API token in your browser's extension storage and sends it with analysis
requests so your subscriber allowance applies. Disconnecting (one click in the
extension popup) deletes the token.
Data we do not collect
No browsing history, no page URLs, no page content beyond your selection.
No analytics or telemetry from the extension itself.
No sale or sharing of data with third parties.
Storage
The extension stores only its own configuration cache (for example, how many free
analyses remain today) and, if you connected your account, your muraja.app API token —
all in your browser's local extension storage. Disconnecting your account or
uninstalling the extension removes it.
