These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Murājaʿa website, mobile applications and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Murājaʿa is an AI-powered Arabic learning platform designed to help learners improve their Arabic through structured study and revision.

If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Practice Video Calls are available only to users aged 18 years or older.

Date of birth is collected solely to determine eligibility for age-restricted features.
Gender is used to support optional gender-specific Practice Video Call matching for users who prefer gender-specific learning environments.
If we reasonably believe you have intentionally provided false information, including deliberately misrepresenting your age or gender to gain access to restricted features or circumvent platform safeguards, we may suspend or permanently terminate your account without refund.
Murājaʿa operates as a subscription service.
Unless stated otherwise:
Cancelling your subscription prevents future renewals.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
If payment cannot be collected we may suspend access until payment is received.
We may change subscription prices in the future by providing reasonable notice before the new price takes effect.

Practice Video Calls are designed solely to help learners practise spoken Arabic.
Access is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older.
Practice calls may be matched using the gender selected during registration to support users who prefer gender-specific learning environments.

Murājaʿa does not actively monitor every conversation in real time.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove access to Practice Video Calls or terminate your account where these Terms or our Community Guidelines are breached.
You retain ownership of the material you upload.
You grant Murājaʿa a limited licence to host, store and process your content solely for the purposes of:

We do not claim ownership of your uploaded learning material.
Murājaʿa uses artificial intelligence to provide educational features.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain mistakes or inaccuracies.
You acknowledge that AI responses are educational assistance only and should not be treated as professional advice.
We do not guarantee:
Murājaʿa, including its software, branding, design and original content, remains our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal learning.
Murājaʿa relies on trusted third-party service providers for certain functionality.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for services outside our reasonable control.
Although we aim to provide a reliable service, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates or technical reasons.
Features may be modified or discontinued as the Service evolves.

The courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Murājaʿa regarding your use of the Service.
